Laurie Marker: A Future of Coexistence is a documentary about one of the most inspiring voices in wildlife conservation: Dr. Laurie Marker, a pioneering female scientist who has dedicated her life to the protection of cheetahs. Based on her personal and professional journey, it asks us to reconsider what true coexistence means in a world where freedom and com- passion must be extended beyond the human species. The film explores not only her groundbreaking achievements but also the urgent threats facing cheetahs today — from habitat loss and poaching to the illegal wildlife trade — and how CCF is leading the way to address them, an inspiration and empowerment to a new generation — especially to young women — by showing what it means to live with courage, empathy, and purpose. At its heart, it is a call to reimagine the future of coexistence, where compassion is not just an ideal, but a shared and lived reality.
